Adaptive Re-use, Renovation + Repositioning: Preserving a Sense of Place

July 10 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free – $60.00

Join us in welcoming Matt Aalfs, AIA of BuildingWork, as we look at what it takes to preserve and strengthen our communities through saving what’s good and unique while designing for the future. We’ll look at how projects evolve from thoughtful consideration of social, cultural, historical, and physical analysis to meet the goals of the client and the needs of the community – from landmark buildings, code compliance, seismic retrofits, tax credits, design sensitivity, and sustainable design.
